Habille moi si tu aimes !

Hey guys I have great news !

For those who don't know it yet (ah ah !) MARKS & SPENCER is coming back to France and is opening a big store on the Champs Elysées this week (opening this thursday).

To promote the event, M&S is launching a great campaign through Facebook today and you'll be able to win the clothes you like ! Isn't that awesome ?!



They have created a fantastic style challenge called HABILLE-MOI SI TU AIMES.  

Hosted on M&S’s Facebook page, it’s a viral game that invites you to ‘like’ M&S in order to discover and win the hottest items from it’s latest Collection. 
You must share your favourite item on Facebook and encourage 21 of your friends to click on it in order to win the chosen item.

It’s as simple as ‘Choose it. Share it. Win it.’ But it’s a race to win the items before they all go !

Sorry we have been away.... but we are back and what better way to start this lovely autumanal season but to be at the launch party of the Versace collection for H&M.  We will be tweeting and taking pics at the event and keep you all updated. Although we are also looking forward to Girls cat fighting the way to Jackets, skirts and blouses.

Bill Tornade- That real rock and roller with style and elegance.

This winter I will be wearing Bill Tornade. The budget is reasonable but if you cant afford this I know some of the high street stores are doing very similar looks.

‘AAA’ - TOPMAN AUTOMNE WINTER 2011



Topman has launched the latest of its ongoing "rock ‘n’ roll" inspired ‘AAA‘ collection modelled by Isaac Carew ( Who we've had our eyes on since seeing him in the Paris shows).
The collection includes a range of shoes created in collaboration with British shoe designer Mr Marc Hare. I really like the shoes and know it will make a great addition to my wadrobe.
AAA was born out of a seed of an idea whilst styling bands and musicians for our Flagship New York store opening it became apparent that whilst we may happen to have a fleeting Rock and Roll trend in store what we needed was a more permanent one with a music DNA that our customer could buy into regardless of seasonal influences. Our girl Kate on Cover of V Mag




35-year-old British actress Kate Winslet graces the cover of V Magazine’s September issue, on newsstands September 8.
Shot by Photographer Mario Testino for The Heroes Issue and styled by Carine Roitfeld. where she channeled one of her own heroes, Elizabeth Taylor.
Here’s what Kate had to share with the mag:

On her childhood: “I was extremely self sufficient. At the age of 9 I knew I wanted to be an actress. I had that sort of determination that that I can imagine in 9 or 10-year-old girl, for a parent, must have been fairly disconcerting … I didn’t know how on earth I was going to pull any of that off, but I was just sure of it.”
On nude scenes: “I hate it! Listen, make no mistake, I just get on it. I just go in and say ‘Oh f—’ let’s do it.’ And boom. If you complain about it or procrastinate it’s not going to go away. It’s a profoundly bizarre thing to do … You can literally be tangled in sheets, and you turn to the other actor and say ‘What the f— are we doing?’ ‘Dear Mum, at work today I had so-and-so’s left nut sack pressed against my cheek.’ It’s sort of unethical if you think about it in those terms.”

Dior Homme - The Wanderer


 Golden cornfields set the stage for Dior Homme‘s draped and dramatic silhouettes of fall/winter 2011. Channeling the mysterious and possibly paranormal side of suburbia, the campaign film features model Victor Nylander experiencing a violent possession by a demonic (but somewhat sartorial) scarecrow.
 The Wanderer evokes feelings of loneliness and isolation despite cloaking itself in dapper Dior threads. Nylander’s fragile beauty, combined with erratic bodily movements that play victim only to the wind, proves to be quite disturbing when juxtaposed against the edge of civilization. The monotonous violin drones throughout the film, cementing the sombre mood to the already monochromatic aesthetics of Dior Homme.

Beckham teams up with H&M




“David Beckham is a true icon both of sport and style. It is incredibly exciting for H&M to be entering into a long-term partnership with him for his DAVID BECKHAM Bodywear line. It is the start of an amazing adventure for us at H&M. Valentine’s Day in 2012 is going to be a very exciting time indeed”, says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Head of Design.

David Beckham is teaming up with popular highstreet chain H&M to develop his debut range of bodywear for men, launching in 40 countries worldwide pre-Valentines Day (2nd February) 2012.

Tiny Tot Elle Fanning for Marc Jacobs













 13 Year old actress Elle Fanning  follows in her sister Dakota’s footsteps by signing up  for Marc Jacobs by fronting the Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign alongside Lowell Tautchin shot by German Fashion photpgrapher Juergen Teller.

The I am Sam star looks amazing in the clothes and she is pure angelic vintage chic however will these photos really speak to older women? Lets wait for the verdict.

Versace for H&M




H&M
 announces its latest designer collaboration with one of the world’s most iconic fashion brand Versace. Launching in Autumn 2011, designed by Donatella Versace, the men’s and women’s collection will reference the heritage of the brand with Rock ‘n’ Roll influences.
Donatella took to the catwalk last night following the Versace men’s catwalk show during Milan Fashion Week (right) to preview one of the pieces prior to the official announcement this morning.
Available from 17th November in 300 stores nationwide and online you can expect lots of leather plus a vibrancy of print, colour and exubernace.
Donatella has also designed a pre-spring collection for H&M that launches from 19th January 2012.













“Versace is one of the most important brands of recent times, and their collection for H&M will be glamorous and flamboyant – everything Versace stands for. Donatella Versace is sharing with us iconic designs from the archives. This is such a celebratory collaboration and is perfect for the party season,” says Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.

American Apparel does Denim





American Apparel launches of its first line of jeans. Inspired by classic American jeans the company’s Made in USA jeans bring an important philosophy and approach back to the denim market.


Although reported bankruptcy, American Apparel instead launches a new denim collection. According to the CEO Dov Charney.


“No brand of clothing which has a basic product as good as American Apparel. We controlled T-shirts, and now we love jeans,” said Dov Charney.
Constructed of a 14 ounce denim made of 100% cotton. The fabric is thick, original, and designed to be broken in and worn for years. This new product  is being launched by American Apparel’s newly appointed Director of Denim, Georges Atlan who previously worked with famous denim brands like Levi’s, Seven, Rock & Republic, Joe’s Jeans, and Calvin Klein.
The jeans are available in standard sizing, in a full size run in two washes. launching will begin with a high-waist, tapered leg blue jean for women, and a high-waist, cuffed jean short for women. 


The company has plans for additional washes and more styles, including a men’s heavy-weight denim jean. The jeans can be seen in high-resolution at American Apparel
