The Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Marking 60 years of The Queen's reign, the Diamond Jubilee celebrations will centre around an extended weekend on 2, 3, 4 and 5 June back home in Blighty.

Stuck in Paris for the Queen's Jubilee this weekend? Not to worry! We have a perfect solution. Invite a few friends over and have yourself a jubilee picnic.
Pop over to M&S on the Champs Elysees and pick up a few favourites- cheddar cheese and mango chutney sandwiches, crumpets, scones and strawberry jam. Dont forget the Pimms  and cumcumber sandwiches.

If however the weather isnt up to scratch you can have a carpet picnic infront of BBC iplayer.

60 years of The Queen's reign

The Queen came to the throne on 6 February 1952 and her coronation took place on 2 June 1953. She celebrated her Silver Jubilee (25 years) in 1977 and her Golden Jubilee (50 years) in 2002.
