Roadkill Couture - Eaton and Nott

This weekend Eaton and Nott  will open their doors in Brighton. Couture garments that showcased at this years Brighton Fashion Week 2011 and received a standing ovation and extensive press coverage.
However this clothes boutique will be slightly different as they will sell clothes made from feathers, skulls, skins and furs from animals that have died from natrual causes including roadkill.
Designer Jess Eaton (former Jez ) a conceptual artist who started her career abroad as a celebrity makeup artist in the early 90's working and travelling the world with Europe's most  pop stars.
Garments include a necklace made from pheasant skulls, a horse hat with protruding equine ears (the outfit comes with a cute and quirky tail too, presumably from the same expired nag), and a shawl made from squirrels, complete with dangling bushy tails.
Eaton says the whole collection is an exercise in ethics and environmentalism. The pelts, after all, would otherwise go to waste, and if we are happy to eat animals then perhaps we should be happy to wear them too.
