Dallas is back.

Patrick Duffy, Larry Hagman who play warring brothers JR and Bobby Ewing will reprise their role on a new series of the show which has been given the go-ahead. Linday Gray who starred as JR's ex-wife Sue Ellen in the 10-episode series due to air in the US next summer will also be amongst the star studded cast!

Famed for cliffhangers and plot developments, including JR being shot by a mysterious assailant and Bobby Ewing coming back from the dead in the shower, the original series attracted a huge global audience.
In the new series, the family fortune is now in the hands of the next generation of the Ewing clan: cousins John Ross Ewing, the son of JR and Sue Ellen, and Christopher Ewing, the adopted son of Bobby, who continue their fathers' long and bitter rivalry.
The revived series was given the go-ahead after a pilot script was written by Cynthia Cidre, who wrote the screenplay for 1992 film The Mambo Kings.
90210 star Josh Henderson will play John Ross, while Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe will portray his rival Christopher.
The Fast and The Furious star Jordana Brewster will play Elena, who is involved in a love triangle with both cousins.
The original Dallas series ran from 1978 to 1991 and centred on the Ewings' cattle and oil dynasty based at the Southfork Ranch in Texas.
Broadcast on US network CBS, it also attracted a large following in the UK when it was aired on the BBC.

Lets see if 80s series Dynasty will be back...
